We had a large group and there was a variety of dishes ordered. I got the B6 which was amazing! Really great taste with amazing chicken and blueberry sauce. The fries could have been crispier. All the foods ordered were a variety of different dishes with some great artistic finishes. Easy dish really looked beautiful , I have to say. The service was attentive, prompt and not too much at all. I'd say a great experience all around.

We held our wedding reception here in September 2025 and had a spectacular experience. Tony was a great partner in planning the evening, and the staff were outstanding. We chose the 2-course menu (starter and either chicken sandwich or burger or veg option) and everything was delicious. Our guests were really impressed by the meal, and according to our wedding party, the "vibes were immaculate". They were flexible with our drink menu (we did a 5$ cash bar to bring down the cost for both guests and for our final bill) and it was honestly a seamless evening. Thanks to Tony and all your staff for helping make our wedding reception a party for the books!

Someone recommended this place to me so thought I’d come here with family for dinner. The decor/atmosphere was nice and the service was good. The food was a bit of a hit or miss. My wife upgraded her side to the soup (it was ginger carrot that night) and OMG it was so salty — couldn’t do it. Told our server and we changed it to the caesar salad instead. The salad looked great and was pretty decently sized, however, it too was quite salty and we didn’t want to bring it up again so just ended up packing it to go. Other than that though, the rest of the food was fine.

Three of us dined at ABE ERB for the first time on a Sunday late September when we were in town and really enjoyed it. It was warm enough to have the garage window open… loved that touch. We ordered the Steak Frites, Salmon Bowl and one of the burgers. All three were delicious. The vibe was fun! Would definitely go back for a weekend out. And the service was amazing. Highly recommend if you’re in the Waterloo area.

I had a great experience at ABE ERB last week. The atmosphere was really good and the service was excellent—our server was attentive and friendly. The food was decent, but the top-notch service and lively vibe really made the night. I'd definitely go back for the atmosphere and service alone.

Lunch was a great experience. Our all in one server, bartender and cook did a fantastic job recommending serving sizes and getting the order out in a timely manner. The Abe Erb Lite Ale hit the spot with the Big Abe Burger! The Crispy Cod Sliders were the perfect size for a quick bite. The decor is very inviting and creative. You have to visit and support this local gem. Parking at the back is a big bonus as well. Reservations weren't required but Opentable is helpful getting the type of seating you prefer. Will go again soon!!
